John Cutrone talks the talk and walks the walk. Not only has he inspired his students to pursue a career in music, he has done it all himself. He has the skill, talent, education and experience to share his passion and knowledge teaching drums at all levels. John has performed with world-class musicians including guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli, Chris Brubeck, trumpeter Marvin Stamm, Bill Watrous, drummer Steve Gadd, folk legend Pete Seeger, Fred Hellermann, jazz artists Lou Stein, Al Klink and George Duvivier, Broadway stars Barbara McNair and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. The list goes on and on!
“I’ve enjoyed playing many concerts for six years with the great jazz guitar player Bucky Pizzarelli and bass player Jerry Bruno. In that time, we recorded three records and many concerts. In recent years, I’ve recorded and enjoy playing the Great American Songbook with Hiroshi Yamazaki and the great jazz bass player David Finck.
